Le Marin

After a nice evening with Erica and Norman and a good night sleep i cleared in at the french customs. They are the ONLY one which still insist on a german "flag certificate" from time to time. There is an acknowledgment for the international boat license (IBS) but the problem is one sentence on it:" The registration number is only valid for german inland waters". This means the paper itself is valid but only in german inland waters we have to actually USE this number and stick it on the hull.

Anyway, they can not do a lot and so they cleared LinoCat in.
Welcome to Europe :-)

The new Lagoon 620 was here and of course we had to have a look and it is avery nice and impressive boat.

The marina was full and so we anchored but we are actually happy about this since we have enough water and electricity and we brought Andi and his family to shore by dinghy.

Since today the main season in the caribbean has ended and so let us see how crowdy it will be from now on.

Today we will sail to Anse Mitan near the capital Fort de France.

Then on Monday we will take the ferry to Fort de France and spend a few hours there and then onwards to St Pierre.

Since we are in Europe there are only very few free WiFi networks and so i do not know how frequently i can update the blog.

So stay tuned :-)
