English Harbour Antigua

This the flag of Antigua. In Jim´s Locker, a local bookstore they sell nice flags, which are not pöainted but stitched from different colored clothes.

English harbour still has preserved many of the old buildings and around Nelsons dockyard these can be seen. It is by the way THE Lord Nelson which is the famous admiral of the UK.

















It is nice that these buildings are kept in good shape. In Nelsons dockyard you can also find immigration, customs and port authorities. Clearing in was not a problem at all.

The guys from "Northern Star" wer ejust checking out in front of me. I mentioned this huge motorboat yesterday. The customs guy asked: is these a motor boat? And the guy answered: "I think so" :-)


When Lani saw the "Northern Star" she said it was a ferry :-)

Whats the plan?

Many people ask me what is on the agenda next? Well, LinoCat will be shipped back on board of a freighter to Palma de Mallorca and from there it will be sailed to Portimao in Portugal most likely. When ? Good question the freighter left Florida a little late and has already been postponed a few days. The current plan is to fly to Germany this week. From the 1st of August i will be working again! YEAH! No kidding. Then we will see... What will happen with this blog? I don´t know yet, for the time beeing i will continue it and then maybe use it as a daily update for what is going on. Or it might rest until our trip continues? Who knows....
