En route to the Tobago Cays

Peter and myself used the ocean kayaks yesterday to go to the beach. Peter was ahead of me and i saw a big wave coming from behind and smashing him ashore. Thank god Chico, the dog was OK and Peter only lost his sunglasses and hat. I thought i could do better until the next wave broke over me and i was immediately under water and turned around like in a washing machine. Of course i also lost my sunglasses :-)Getting back onto the kayaks and out in the sea was an interesting task !

Back on board we had a a beer and chatted the whole afternoon.

In the evening we grilled chicken breast on the boat and had a nice salad, roasted bread and self made garlic bread with it. After the dinner we visited the Vanora with Peter and Tina for a sweet Tarte Flambé as a dessert. Norman and Erika from "Norm the storm" were also there and it was close to midnight when we finally went to bed.
This morning Mike and myself went ashore to get some stuff from the supermarket. This supermarket is called "Doris" and it is just amazing what you can get. From Wasabi for Sushi to Pumpernickel bread, salad, fruits and almost everything you can think of. We are now "Doris"-fans!

At around 10.40 we left for the Tobago Cays but the wind is coming from front and so we are motorsailing. The Cays are a national park and you have to pay around 2.50EUR per person per night which is OK i think since it is used for the marine park.

The Medianoche is in front of us and Vanora somewhere behind. Norm the Strom will also join there. So we hope to find a nice anchorage there with crystal clear water and lots of colorful fishes! LET´S SEE!
