LinoCat first night of the Atlantic crossing

After having Spaghetti Bolognese and a green salad, Chris brought Lani to bed at 19.30 and then went to bed around 21.00.

Since it was the first night we decided not to stay inside and play cards because of the risk of getting seasick, especially at the first night.
Andi went to bed around 22:00 and so i had the first watch and it was nice with many stars and still many ARC boats around.
A while after midnight it was Andis turn and around 3 Chris took over followed by me again around 5 in the morning.

Chris had packed "sweets rations" for Andi and myself because otherwise we might finish all in one night. :-)
So each of us had some Haribo Gummibears, cookies, Saltstick and other stuff in a box with our name. Also each of us has a bottle with a name on it for water, just to make sure we drink enough.

We kept the Parasailor up all night doing an average of 8,2 knots. Sometimes the speed in the surf down a wave goes up to 13 for the SOG and 17knots for the speed through water.
The lines are chafing on the bow stanchions cable so we will dismount that today to prevent the lines from being cut through.
There are a few clouds but i guess they might disappear and we will have a nice day with some fishing....
