La Gomera Valle Gran Rey anchorage

We are anchoring at La Gomera. The bay is on the south west part of the island and so it should be well protected in the prevailing north east winds. There is a small fishing harbour and a smaller ferry is connecting it to San Sebastian.
The anchor ground is black gravel and under water visibility around 25m.
When we dropped anchor at 17.30 yesterday i could clearly see it laying on the ground.
There are around 5-7 other yachts anchoring here and the wind is around 1-2 and only a slight swell. very good anchor conditions. The 30kg Buegelanchor is holding very well. depth around 9m and we have around 35m-40m chain out.
We are anchoring directly beneath huge rocks so the scenery is beautiful. We might stay 2 or more days. There is no internet or phone coverage out there so i am typing this in the harbour since with HF somehow blogger does not accept my picture attachments.
