Sopers Hole to Jost van Dyke

Yesterday we spent half the day to get the our permit for the BVI extended. And it was raining cats and dogs. The rain was so heavy that many streets were flooded. It reminded me of the monsoon season in India.
Back on the boat we left for Jost van Dyke, an island named after a pirate. The population ist less than 225 people but trust me, there are many more mosquitos than humans on this island!

The clouds were so thick that our GPS took ages to get a fix and so i was sailing in the traditional way and happy to still be able to reach the bay i wanted :-)
Just when we wanted to anchor Ralf from Medianoche called and he was 2 bays to the south. So LinoCat pointed its nose south and we headed to the Medianoche in Diamond cay, 2 miles south between Jost van Dyke and Little Jost van Dyke. Anchor was dropped in 4m of water and the water is clear. After a beer on the Medianoche we had noodles and went to bed early.

Today we want to check out another place but we do not know which one yet.

Check out this 1m long guy. In german he is called "Schiffshalter".
