This morning Sarah, Eric and Jannic arived in Faro and i picked them up from the airport. We decided to have a chilllout day and just go out by boat for a swim. There was almost now wind but still we sailed with slow 3knots. we had a nice swim in the 23degrees Atlantic but it felt like 15 degrees. We jumped in from the boat and enjoyed the crystal clear blue water and the sun. Sarah felt a bit seasick and so we turned around after an hour stop and arrived around 1600 back in the marina. In the marina we saw the "Celestial Hope", a 47m luxury yacht wich can be rented for a small fee but we could not see who has just rented it.

Well, you can either handwash or you go into a marina with a coin laundry. Depending on the quality and cleanliness you may decide what to do. Here the Miele machines look nice and clean and are stainless steel which steel looks shiny inside. So it is worth to sepnd the 5 EURO! YES! It´s 5 Euro per washing or drying cycle. My sunglasses are for babies, so i will force my parents to get me a new one right away. All other babies here have cool and funny sunglasses. I am looking like a grandma! THIS SUCKS!

We have a rental car now and so we can go shopping and get stuff to work on the boat. The new batteries seems to be fine and so far the outback charger never had more than 100V and yes he did throw out 35A for charging. Thats nice. Today the watermaker was running the first time and it looks good. Now we can produce our own drinking water. Together with the solar panel array this gives us a lot of independency. The masthead TriColor light (LED) and anchor light is fitted and wired. I just finished the wiring now and tested all. It is 23:00. Who says that this is holiday? I was almost working from 9 to 23.00. Lani got an nice haircut from Chris and she decided to give "Lu", a small doll a nice bath. Very cute. Whenever she sees water she is totally hyper and wants to jump in. The bownet got a new rope all around now and we went to Lagos to get some spareparts. Today i climbed the mast to the masttop. No, rather someone winched me up there. 20m is quite high when looking down and i took the opportunity to take a picture of the boat from above. New batteries are installed (Energizer 140Ah 4 of them) and some other work will be done.

Here a view on the 3 solar panels Sanyo 210Wp. They now perfectly cover the Dinghy and the Dinghy is protecting the panels when dock in backwards with the boat and there is a pillar like there is just now in the marina where we are located.
